HSBC

21 New Conduit St, King's Lynn PE30 1DE, UK – 0845 740 4404

Just moving to the area this is our local bank. We have visited quite a few times and each time we have received excellent service (considering all of our matters have been quite challenging). This past time when we had visited we had spoken with the teller. We had given her quite a few task to help us complete on that visit and she succeeded quite well. In the mist of the mix some of our statements we needed printed were left on the printer. The lovely teller Jan had over nighted those statements to us - knowing that we needed them urgently! She gave us such great customer service and even spoke to us with such politeness. It was lovely to see such a kind hearted, hard working woman. Thank you!

The Dental Access Centre

6 King St, King's Lynn PE30 1ES, UK – 01553 769264

Excellent Service, very friendly. Had tooth extraction and did not feel it. I am a very nervous patient but was put at ease. Thanks

I had been suffering with severe pain for 4 days. Having just moved to a new area had not registered with a dentist yet. I was given the details of the Access centre in Kings Lynn. I called Monday afternoon and spoke with Debbie who explained the centre booking procedure very clearly. I was on the phone first thing, 8:00am, Tuesday morning and was in the dentist chair at 9:30. I knew that I would probably need an extraction and was more then help for this to happen. The whole experience has been brilliant. Thank you so much for bringing relief to my situation.

Smiles Better Dental & Implant Clinic

76-77 Norfolk St, King's Lynn PE30 1AD, UK – 01553 692296

I was terrified of dental treatment and my teeth were rubbish until I discovered Smiles Better and my dentist, Rebecca. All the staff are lovely, and very sympathetic. I've been going there four years now and they fully understand my fears and I can honestly say, although I've had a couple of extensive procedures, I have not felt any pain. I'm so pleased to have found this practice & thoroughly recommend them.

Very friendly and professional team, relaxing atmosphere if you are nervous patient like me and they have great coffee.

Gayton Road Health Centre

Vida Healthcare, Gayton Road Health Centre, Gayton Road, King's Lynn PE30 4DY, UK – 01553 600075

This is a good practice - the GP's are very good but... the online info is misleading. It states the practice is open until 6:30. but doesnt say you can't call to make appointments after 5:00 p.m. unless you have an emergency. Very frustrating!

BMI The Sandringham Hospital

Gayton Road, King's Lynn PE30 4HJ, UK – 01553 769770

I felt in very safe hands , the care I received was fantastic and the food was really nice too. I would definitely recommend this hospital.

A mixed bag really. Had a pre op assessment to go to before x-mas, had a bad virus and after going to doctors rang up hospital to say was unwell. Advised I still had to attend then quickly advised I couldn't have op for 6 weeks as I was unwell ( no points for stating the obvious there then ). When eventually got an op date through it was then cancelled and rescheduled for 3 weeks later. Had to arrive 7.30am on 24th March for a hernia operation and was told I would probably be last one of the morning. Had op between 11.30am-12 pm ( possibly later ? ). Had got in a bit of a state with all the waiting as wife was not allowed to stay with me as on a shared ward with another patient. Confusing advice and lack of advice by different staff who didn't all seem to be singing from the same hymn sheet. Left hospital same day unsure about what after care advice to follow, it all seemed a bit vague and some staff didn't seem that sure either. Completed questionaire before leaving which would have been more favourable than this now having had time to reflect on the overall service. Don't get me wrong some staff were caring and helpful but others were lacking in that department.

Great Service & wonderful staff with the QEH being a credit to the NHS. Unfortunately being a Diabetic I have had to go to the hospital on numerous occasions and all I have is praise for the team. Keep up the good work "Well Done"

Penny Wood Recycling

1 Saunders Yard,, Austin Fields, King's Lynn PE30 1PH, UK – 07411 583042

I stumbled across Sam at Penny Wood recycling when looking for a hairpin scaffold desk for my study. After looking at a few different desks the quality and variety of the items Sam was producing really stood out. I inquired as to whether Sam could also produce some reclaimed scaffold shelves for me to go with the table and he was more than accommodating! I ended up ordering the desk along with 5 shelves and i couldn't be happier, the items are absolutely stunning - really well made and unique. I have recommended Sam to many of my friends and have had nothing but positive comments on the table and shelves. If you are looking for tables, shelves or any of the many other items that Sam produces then look no further! - You will not be disappointed.

Sam from Penny Wood Recycling built and installed reclaimed scaffold shelving in our cottage and it looks incredible. We had two large alcoves either side of a brick fireplace that needed filling. Sam's shelving solution was spot on and really finishes the room off a treat. Each of the scaffold boards have been lovingly sized, sanded and varnished and are in keeping with the style of our cottage and the rest of our rustic/reclaimed furniture. We couldn't be happier. I'd recommend Penny Wood to anyone. Professional, talented, with a perfectionist attitude, easy to contact and discuss things with and a very high standard of work. We'll be ordering more items in the future.

Give and get free stuff. Here you will find lots of items that people are willing to give away, for FREE! This is instead of taking them to a local landfill site. The aim of this site is to reduce the amount of waste that goes to landfill (20.9 million tonnes of it last year in the UK) and recycling is great news for the environment.
We all know that we need to recycle more - and this is a great way of doing it.

Gaywood First Steps Nursery

Queen Mary Rd, King's Lynn PE30 4QG, UK – 01553 660925

lovely place, caring people would reccomend to others

The nursery facilities are generally good and the staff are friendly. They do however charge a fee (currently £5) if you are a few minutes late picking up your children. They also have 'free play' which means that your child has constant access to their outside play area, all year round, regardless of the weather conditions. They only keep the doors shut and the kids in when it is really bad weather, but otherwise let the kids go in and out as they want to and although they do have wellies and waterproofs, this does not prevent the children getting wet or dirty during session, so it is necessary to send them in with several changes of clothes. If your child has a cold or is under the weather and you do not wish them to go outside to play, then you are advised to keep them off nursery until they are better.
